Two main Project Ideas
Final Project ideas
The first of the final two ideas, that I took from my initial ideas section, is a game that I think I would more likely be able to do because it was one of the easier game ideas that I had put down. It was going to be a shooter, like my game ideas, but this one was going to be a 2D platform shooter. I thought this would be easier to do in the time period and that I would have a finished product unlike last time. I have two options for creating this game: one is using the unity engine, the other is using unreal engine. If I use unity I will be learning how to use a new engine which I put down as the purpose for creating this, but I could use unreal as I have used it before and the components for a game like this are a lot cheaper than trying to make a first person game in unreal. I think I could mange this in unreal but at this moment I am unsure which one I want to use.

The second of the two ideas, from my initial plans that I think I would more likely want to do, is the modelling idea. I wanted to do this as I haven't done a modelling project before, so this means I would be starting a project from scratch. Although, with this project I would prefer to do it in blender as I like this a lot more than Maya because I have used it before while I tried to create a game character for my game. I did quite a bit on blender and I got used to most of the blender hotkeys too. I was thinking when it comes to doing a modelling project there are multiple things that I can create, but as it is meant to be a degree level project, I should probably create a scene or landscape as these are harder things to do. What makes them harder is that they require multiple objects that have to be created. So, with this in mind, I have thought about what I could make. One option was a desk scene which I have done before so that could be a good option, the second option could be a child's toy corner with a variety of children's toys. These are the options that I think are the best things to do, in modelling, that I could achieve. I think, however, I would like to try modelling rather than the 2D platform shooter because it it something new and challenging for me.
