Twenty Five Week Blog Post for Project
Project Blog Week Twenty Five:
This is my twenty fifth blog post for my modelling project, on the previous blog post I had completed all of the toys that I needed to make for my toy shop scene. I now decided to move on to animating some of these toys so that they would really standout. I had already animated the two UFO's and the train. The train simply moves across the screen and so does one of the UFOs, the other UFO has a little alien coming out of the space ship and descending to the ground, he observes the area around him and then goes back up into his ship. The first toys I decided to animate were my three aeroplanes which I did simply by making one take off and the other two land. After this I moved on to the toy cars that I had made for young children and decided it would be a good idea for the cars to race each other. I also did this for the more advanced remote controlled sports cars, as well as this I tilted the controllers analog sticks to make it appear that the cars were being moved and controlled by this. The next two toys that I animated were the two trucks, the first was the dumper truck and the second was a fuel truck. The fuel truck I animated first by making it move across the screen, then I animated the dumper truck by making it move halfway across the screen, it then reverses back and opens up its back door to tip out its load. The final toy I animated was the early leaning toy blocks and I thought it would be interesting if they could build up one on top of the other as if a child was playing with them, so that is how I animated them. All my remaining toys will be static. To make these static toys more lifelike I thought I would add sound effects to them, hopefully these sounds will be relevant to each toy and this will complete my project.
