Fourteenth Week Blog Post for Project

Project Blog Week Fourteenth:

This is my fourteenth blog post for my modelling project, I continued to create the remote controlled sports car for my toy scene. Last time I had finished creating both the back and front wheel arches and I am now moving on to create the front grill and some detail on the body of the car. I have still kept the car wheels hidden in order to make it easier for me to create some of the detail.  Firstly I started with the bonnet of the car putting in edge loops around the air intake on the reference image, then I selected certain vertices in line with the shape of the air intake. After which I selected the faces of the air intake, pressed E to extrude, then I deselected it, then I shrunk the selected faces on the x axis and shrunk down the whole selected area. Then I pushed it down slightly into the car, also I extruded two faces on the air intake to make it look more realistic. Secondly I moved onto the front grill of the car and basically I did the same thing as I had done with the bonnet, using edge loops and vertices to form the shape of the grill. As before I pressed E to extrude, then I deselected it, after this I shrunk it down a little and extruded it inward to form the grill. Finally I wanted to add detail to the back of the car so I used the same process that I had used previously for making the bonnet and front grill, using  edges loops and vertices to form the basic shape, selecting the faces of the shape and extruding inwards to form the detail required.
