Sixteenth Week Blog Post for Project




Project Blog Week Sixteenth:

This is my sixteenth blog post for my modelling project,continuing where I left off on the previous post. I decided that my first task was to finalize the front detail of  the car so I extruded it inwards, adding a grill and an air intake to the front by extruding in the new geometry that I created and pushing it inwards to form the desired object. The second task was to create the side body detail of the car, this was done by creating the basic shape detail using the right side reference image and then joining up vertices to form the shape. The third task was to finalize the back detail of the car, this was done by first selecting an edge and pushing it inwards to create this part of the back detail, then all I had to do was to create the back lights. The fourth task was to make the wheels look more realistic, so I created the wheel by basically creating new geometry, shrinking it in then extruding certain sections inwards which form the wheel. To make the tyre less hexagonal I smoothed out the edges to make to look more rounded. Having created one of the front wheels, I duplicated this to create the back wheel on the same side, as this object is mirrored the front and back wheels on the other side were automatically put into place.  The final task to complete the car was to add colour, for the main body of the car I chose a glossy blue colour, for the body detail I chose black, the windows were tinted black too, when it came to the air intake I outlined it with a diffused white colour and the inward section I coloured a light blue and the lights were a red and white emission material. The car was now complete so I moved on to the next toy that I wanted to create for scene, this being a toy lion, so I started by adding in the basic shapes to to form the head, body and legs of the toy. Then I added in some detail like eye, ears and a mouth, as well as putting a tail on the back of the toy, after this was done I added fur to the neck and head to create the mane, then I added a bit of fur to end of the tail.

Project Blog Week Twenty Five: This  is my twenty fifth blog post for my modelling project, o n the  previous blog post I had completed all of the toys that I needed to make for my toy shop scene.  I now decided to move on to animating some of these toys so that they would really standout. I had  already     a nimated the two UFO's and the train. Twenty Seven Week Blog Post for Project

Project Blog Week Twenty Seven: This  is my twenty seventh blog post for my modelling project, o n the previous blog post I had setup animation for most of the toys. I have now completed this by animating the teddy bears and soft toy elephants, for this I added in a ball for them the throw to each other. I also animated the four animals without fur making them charge toward the camera. This is the last blog post for my project as I only had to put in the final touches and then render all of the scenes. Firstly I decided to dull down the cars and the trucks because I wanted them to look more like plastic toys and not so metallic. As well as this I grouped all of the objects that I had made into seven scenes, which I will talk about in more detail in my power point. Twenty Four Week Blog Post for Project

Project Blog Week Twenty Four: This  is my twenty fourth blog post for my modelling project, o n the  previous blog post I had completed the two toy trucks to go in to the toy shop scene, I now decided to move on to create another toy. I looked at all of the toys I had already made and I realized that I didn't have many toys for girls, so I thought it would be a good to create one although I hadn't got any idea of what toy to make. I went on to the internet to see what toy I could create and I found soft toy elephants which were for young girls, so I decided to go with this toy. I started to create one of these elephants in the same way I created the teddy bears, simply because they were both in a sitting position and I thought it made sense to use the same tutorial again to help me make the basic body shape and the fur, leaving me to make the other bits from scratch.
